Minor Sports Injury Treatment
For minor sports injuries, our approach is stabilisation-first, then a graded return to training. We assess each injury on its own terms and give you an honest, realistic timescale.
- Stabilisation-first, with a graded return to training
- A focus on stabilising before loading, not aggressive early rehab
- Elite-sport pedigree, including professional football
- Focuses on the structural pattern behind recurring injuries

We understand what you're dealing with
These are some of the concerns we often hear from people before they come to Frameworks — and how we approach them.
The same injury keeps recurring
Injuries that come back at the same spot often point to an unstable structure failing again. We focus on the pattern, not just the flare.
Rehab is setting you back
Loading an unstable area too early can aggravate it. We focus on stabilising first, then a graded return to training.
You want to be back as soon as possible
We know you want to be back quickly. We'll give you a realistic, individual timescale and a graded plan, rather than rushing a return that doesn't hold.
How we approach minor sports injuries
Athletes want to be back training, and to stay there. Our approach is deliberately different from conventional sports rehab. For minor injuries, we focus on stabilising the structure first, then a graded return to training.
Loading an unstable area too hard, too early can aggravate the very area you're trying to settle. It's a common reason injuries keep coming back at the same point. We work to stabilise that pattern with our Core Integrity Protocols, then build back up gradually.
The approach was shaped in elite sport, where a recovery has to hold. Our advisory board includes the long-serving medic for a Championship football club. The same principles of MSK thinking apply to every athlete we see, amateur or professional.
Many people come to us after trying different approaches and are looking for a more focused assessment of what may be contributing to their symptoms. Our Core Integrity Protocols provide a structured approach to care. Our aim is to support improvement while helping patients understand their condition and treatment options.

How It Works
Free 15-minute assessment
We check whether our approach is right for your case. No obligation, no cost. If it isn't, we'll tell you honestly and point you elsewhere.
Foundation Phase – Examination & first treatment
A thorough assessment, followed by the first precise, low-impact treatment.
Foundation Phase (further 3 sessions)*
Precise micro-adjustments that are designed to address identified structural and movement related factors. We call this our Core Integrity Protocols. The aim is to support longer term pain relief and stability.
* Sometimes further treatments are required but this will be discussed on an individual basis.
Frequently Asked Questions
It depends on the injury. Once we've assessed it, we'll give you a realistic, individual timescale and a graded plan to get you back safely. A minor issue may settle quickly. Anything involving a significant muscle or ligament tear needs its own healing time.
Recurring injuries often point to a structural pattern that hasn't been addressed. The structure isn't stable, so it keeps failing at the same point under load. We assess that pattern and work to stabilise it, with the aim of breaking the cycle.
Sport loads your joints hard and often. Tiny forces, what we call microtrauma, build up faster in active people, and a small change in one joint creates pressure further along the chain, in the hamstring, knee or hip. We aim to catch and settle those small changes early, before they turn into something that stops you playing.
Often it's because the structure underneath wasn't stable enough for that work to take hold. Exercises, stretching and rehab all assume a stable base to work from. Our approach is based on a simple principle: stabilise the structure first, then build strength and movement on top of it. For many patients, exercise and rehab become more productive once that groundwork is in place.
