Our chiropractic clinic is in Verwood, about eight miles from Wimborne Minster and roughly seventeen minutes by road. We are not in Wimborne, and at this distance we would rather be straightforward about the journey than imply a shorter one.
Wimborne Minster is the largest town on the western side of our catchment, with a population of around 15,552. It is a straightforward run across, and we treat a steady number of patients making it.

People often come to us after trying other therapies.
At seventeen minutes, Wimborne is the far edge of what we would call a short drive, so it is worth being clear about what the journey is for: very small, instrument-assisted adjustments aimed at steadying a joint, in a course of four treatments with a compulsory review at the fourth and the cost known up front.
Every visit starts with a free 15-minute assessment. We will tell you honestly whether we can help, and if we are not the right people we will say so and point you somewhere more suitable to your condition.

Parking

Getting seen
No referral and no waiting list. Appointments are usually available the same week, with a later finish on Tuesdays.
What makes this easier/comfortable from what you have tried before
Not because the profession is different, but because of how this clinic works — which is the whole reason the drive across is worth making.
No exercise programme to take home
You will not leave with a sheet of exercises to get through. That is deliberate. We steady the joint first.
Precise, instrument-assisted adjustments
Adjustments are made with instruments rather than purely by hand to make it more comfortable and easy for you. Very small, measured movements to one specific joint, and nothing else which makes rapid response more likely in our experience. The attention to detail is the point.
The same protocols, whoever you see
Every practitioner at the clinic follows the same documented protocols. What you get does not depend on which clinician you happen to be booked with.
Short appointments, and few of them
Treatments are 15 minutes. Most people are managed with occasional appointments once the initial course is done, rather than an open-ended weekly commitment.
Our mandatory review
Every course has a compulsory review at the fourth appointment
We have always done this. At your fourth appointment we look at whether your pain has eased, whether you can do more, or both.
If nothing has changed, we refer you for further clinical investigation rather than carry on treating.
85%

treatments in the Foundation Phase, including the review. A defined course, not an open-ended plan.
64%
had already tried other therapies before they came to us
Almost70%
came to us with back pain. It is what we deal with day in, day out.

The adjustment
Gentle, considered care
Every adjustment is made with instruments, which lets us put a small, controlled amount of movement into one specific joint therefore being very precise and repeatable. That precision is the point: and attention to details gives the best result in our experience. We have found this delivers the most comfortable, considered, easy and rapid response. When you are treated, you either lay flat face down or stay sitting upright, fully clothed, and each step is explained before it happens.
Why Frameworks
A unified technique developed over 32 years
Frameworks Clinic was started by Dr David Eldridge, who trained as a physiotherapist before qualifying as a chiropractor and spent years working in elite sport. Every clinician follows the same written protocols, so a seventeen-minute drive gets you the same method every time.

David trained as a physiotherapist before he qualified as a chiropractor. He built the method the clinic runs on, and spent years working in elite sport. He still treats patients in his consultancy clinics and chairs the advisory Board. BSc Chiropractic, Doctor of Chiropractic, GCC registered (No. 00206). Member of the Royal College of Chiropractors and the British Chiropractic Association.

Dr Joe Sanyal
Clinic lead practitioner

Joe runs the day-to-day clinical work and is who you are most likely to be booked in with. He was treated by David as a teenager, which is what inspired him into chiropractic. Before seeing patients independently, he benefited from the rare opportunity to observe hundreds of cases alongside David. While most practitioners gain experience primarily through treating their own patients, this extensive period of observation allowed him to develop a remarkably detailed understanding of the Frameworks approach and its practical application. GCC registered (No. 06124), and a member of the British Chiropractic Association.

Dr Chris Batty
Advisory Board, orthopaedic and MSK medicine
Read bio
A GP specialising in orthopaedics and MSK conditions, who met David on the Sports Medicine Masters course. He is the longest-serving doctor in the football league and the current medic for a Championship club. He referred patients to the clinic because of the reliability of the results.

Paul Maxwell-Bown
Advisory Board, mental health and wellbeing
Read bio
A mental health specialist whose work on the Board covers the psychological toll of long-term joint pain, and the effects on recovery. He had been through this with his experiences of the NHS as a patient himself. His experience with Frameworks was very different and he wanted to help others understand this.

Wimborne: common questions
About eight miles, or roughly seventeen minutes by road, east into Verwood. It is the longest journey of any area we cover, and the free assessment is there so you can judge whether it is worth repeating.
Slightly, yes. Colehill sits on the eastern edge of Wimborne, so it is a marginally shorter run to Verwood than from the Minster itself.
No. Adjustments are made using instruments that allow us to create very small, precise movements. This emphasises what we believe is the need for gentle, easy and considered care.
There is no cracking, forceful thrust or sudden manipulation. When you are treated, you either lie flat on your front or remain seated upright, fully clothed.
The Foundation Phase is four treatments over two to four weeks, £228 for the course, and you will know that number before you agree to anything. After that many patients are seen occasionally rather than on an ongoing plan, and how often is discussed individually.
No. You can book the free 15-minute assessment directly, and appointments are usually available the same week.
