We understand what you're dealing with
These are some of the concerns we often hear from people before they come to Frameworks — and how we approach them.
The knee isn't the whole story
How the back and pelvis sit determines how the knee loads. Management of the knee alone may result in ongoing problems and we do our best to avert this by looking at the rest of the biomechanical chain.
It hasn't settled with the usual approaches
When knee pain lingers, it's often because how the back, pelvis and hip load the joint hasn't changed. A free assessment can help you understand what's driving it and whether our approach is likely to help.
Rehab isn't holding
Strengthening a joint that's loading badly can only resolve muscle weakness issues. We can manage the biomechanical chain, and then we can assist with rehabilitation alongside your ongoing recovery journey.
How we approach knee pain
We assess the whole chain: back, pelvis, hip, knee and ankle. We aim to stabilise the chain using our Core Integrity Protocols. When the chain is loading the knee better, many patients find their pain settles.
Looking at the whole chain, rather than the knee alone, can also mean a shorter, more defined course of treatment.
Many people come to us after trying different approaches and are looking for a more focused assessment of what may be contributing to their symptoms. Our Core Integrity Protocols provide a structured approach to care. Our aim is to support improvement while helping patients understand their condition and treatment options.

How It Works
Free 15-minute assessment
We check whether our approach is right for your case. No obligation, no cost. If it isn't, we'll tell you honestly and point you elsewhere.
Foundation Phase – Examination & first treatment
A thorough assessment, followed by the first precise, low-impact treatment.
Foundation Phase (further 3 sessions)*
Precise micro-adjustments that are designed to address identified structural and movement related factors. We call this our Core Integrity Protocols. The aim is to support longer term pain relief and stability.
* Sometimes further treatments are required but this will be discussed on an individual basis.
Frequently Asked Questions
We can assess you and give you an honest opinion, but we'd never tell you to go against medical advice you've been given. What we can do is look at how the back, pelvis and hip are loading the knee, since that sometimes plays a part. If we don't think we can help, we'll say so, and the assessment is free either way.
The position of the lower back and pelvis directly affects how force is distributed through the knee. Treating the knee in isolation often doesn't last, because the thing loading it badly hasn't changed.
Often it's because the structure underneath wasn't stable enough for that work to take hold. Exercises, stretching and rehab all assume a stable base to work from. Our approach is based on a simple principle: stabilise the structure first, then build strength and movement on top of it. For many patients, exercise and rehab become more productive once that groundwork is in place.
