We understand what you're dealing with

These are some of the concerns we often hear from people before they come to Frameworks — and how we approach them.

It keeps flaring up

A shoulder that calms down and then flares again, month after month, points to a driver that keeps being missed. We aim to identify the possible biomechanical origins which create ongoing flare ups.

As with all our approaches, we address the patterns we see and as with all our structured protocols this involves 4 treatments. Again, if you do not respond we refer you back to your GP.

Shoulder-only treatment hasn't worked

Addressing the joint in isolation often misses the real driver. We assess the whole chain that controls the shoulder.

Stiff, and not easing with time

Long-standing shoulders can take more time, but improvement is often still possible. We'll be straight with you about what to expect.

How we approach shoulder pain

Shoulder pain is often treated by looking only at the shoulder. We assess the entire bio mechanical chain.

We assess the neck, the nerves supplying the shoulder, and the joint itself, then treat the whole system gently and precisely. We aim to stabilise the structure first with our Core Integrity Protocols.

We're also honest about timescales. Some shoulders respond quickly. Longer-standing or more complex cases can take more time, and we'll be straight with you about what to expect.

Many people come to us after trying different approaches and are looking for a more focused assessment of what may be contributing to their symptoms. Our Core Integrity Protocols provide a structured approach to care. Our aim is to support improvement while helping patients understand their condition and treatment options.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. That's a standard part of our assessment. Referred pain from the neck is common, and often missed when only the shoulder is examined. We look at the whole system.

We'll always be honest about what's realistic. Long-standing shoulder problems can take more time, and some sit outside what our approach can help with. We assess the shoulder, the neck and the nerves that supply it, then tell you honestly whether we think we can help or whether you'd be better seen elsewhere.

Often it's because the structure underneath wasn't stable enough for that work to take hold. Exercises, stretching and rehab all assume a stable base to work from. Our approach is based on a simple principle: stabilise the structure first, then build strength and movement on top of it. For many patients, exercise and rehab become more productive once that groundwork is in place.
