What a private MSK assessment involves
Our Private MSK Assessment is for anyone who wants a clear answer. It's a rigorous clinical examination of posture, joint position, movement patterns and neurological function, carried out by a specialist with decades of MSK experience.
You leave with a plain-English diagnosis and an honest recommendation. That might be our Foundation Phase treatment, an onward referral, or simple reassurance that nothing structural is wrong. There's no obligation to go any further, and you don't need a GP referral or a place on a waiting list to be seen.
The free 15-minute Pre-Foundation Assessment is the no-cost way to start. We confirm whether our approach suits your case before you spend anything. Getting an accurate answer early is also what keeps treatment short and the total cost down.

Details of any medication and any prior X-rays or MRI reports are useful, but not essential. You don't need to undress for the assessment.
Often it's because the structure underneath wasn't stable enough for that work to take hold. Exercises, stretching and rehab all assume a stable base to work from. Our approach is based on a simple principle: stabilise the structure first, then build strength and movement on top of it. For many patients, exercise and rehab become more productive once that groundwork is in place.

We're upfront about what treatment costs. The free assessment means you can decide with no financial commitment. All patients complete the Foundation Phase in four sessions, so it's a shorter, more defined course than an open-ended treatment plan.
