Missed appointments policy


On occasion we appreciate that patients may not be able to keep an appointment that they have made. However, the spacing between appointments is a clinical decision and we strongly recommend you keep as closely as possible to these timings.

If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please get in touch so we can offer that time to someone else who is in need of treatment. We respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice.

Cancellations made before 24 hours will be processed without a penalty. If patients do not inform the clinic in advance, they may incur the charge of the appointment. It is the patient’s responsibility to note the date, and not to rely on the text messaging service alone.

It may be increasingly difficult to rebook at short notice as the clinics become busier. You may therefore have to wait to be seen if you need to move your appointment.

Need to rearrange?

Give us as much notice as you can, ideally at least 24 hours, so we can offer the slot to another patient who needs it.
